Privacy policy

SaveNow is a personal finance app by ByteCraft. Your financial data is yours: this policy explains what the app does with it.
What the app stores
Everything you enter (accounts, balances, transactions, credit cards, budgets, savings goals, categories, tags, receipts and settings) is stored only on your device. Receipts you attach (a photo you take or a file you pick) are copied into the app's private storage and aren't included in backups; the camera is opened only when you tap Take photo. The app doesn't ask for your name, email or any account, and doesn't collect location, contacts or usage data.
Ads
The app shows a few ads: one card each in the transactions list, on Home (never on your first day) and in Charts, marked as an ad; now and then a full-screen ad after you save a transaction (at most one every three saves, never in the first days of use); and optional videos you can choose to watch to unlock report exports or to go 12 hours without ads. They're provided by Google AdMob, which may collect your device's advertising ID, IP address and device information to show the ads, measure them and prevent fraud, and to personalize them only if you allow it. Where the law requires (such as the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom), you're asked first and can change your choice in Settings › Ad privacy options. Your financial data is never shared with advertisers. You can also remove the ads with a subscription or a one-time purchase on Google Play: Google handles the payment, and the app only asks Google Play whether a purchase is active. Backups
When you export a backup, by hand or automatically, the file is saved where you choose (your phone, Google Drive, etc.); we never receive it. With Premium you can also back up automatically to your own Google Drive: the copy goes to a hidden app folder in your account that only the app can read, and we never receive it either. The file isn't encrypted, so keep it somewhere private. Android may also include the app's data in your phone's automatic backup to your own Google account, according to your phone's settings.
App lock
If you turn on the app lock, your fingerprint, face or PIN is checked by Android itself. The app only learns whether it matched; it never receives or stores biometric data.
Notifications
Reminders and bill alerts are created on the device from your own data; nothing is sent from a server.
Deleting your data
You can edit or delete any record in the app. Uninstalling the app or clearing its data in the phone's settings removes everything from the device. Backup files you exported stay where you saved them.
Changes to this policy
If a future version starts collecting or sharing more data, this policy will be updated before that version is released, and the date above will change.
